Cardiac Cath and PCI for 2025
Course Description:
There are many rules like CPT® rules, NCCI rules, Medicare rules and more to consider when reporting cardiology procedures. There is a lot of confusion on how to code cardiology procedures, as many coders want to code by the service itself, and not the vessel treated. This Webinar is designed to speak to the new, intermediate and seasoned coder about Cardiology Cath and interventional coding, billing and reimbursement.
This webinar will educate on correct coding for Cardiac Catheterization along with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions) such as stents, angioplasties, and atherectomies. Expert Terry will also discuss the possible add on like shockwave lithotripsy, thrombectomy and many additional injections services. There are many CCI edits and CPT inclusions to also consider when reporting these services. Terry Fletcher, as an subject matter expert in the cardiology coding specialty, will explain in detail how to meet these challenges for rightful reimbursement. Terry will discuss CPT coding applications and modifiers, along with diagnoses linking for reimbursement success.
